With Seedream 4.5 being released a week ago, I had to compare it to the other recent release in the AI image market…Nano Banana Pro. I ran five tests focused on various metric like prompt adherence, object replacement, time change, text rendering, and prompt complexity (how well can the models handle a complex prompt). Verdict 🏆: Unfortunately, this one wasn’t as close as I had hoped it would be. Nano Banana Pro won in every metric tested. Although both models rendered text accurately, Nano Banana Pro consistently generated high-quality, interesting, prompt accurate results. To be fair, however, getting Nano Banana to actually work sometimes is one battle I never faced with Seedream 4.5. Prompt 1: A cinematic wide-shot of a city street. Shops line the street, one right next to the other. The camera shot has the shops centered in the frame. Old red brick buildings. A car covered in dog fur (with giant dog ears and a nose) is parking along the side of the street (parallel parked) along with other normal looking cars. Cinematic color grading and lighting.
